Help & Troubleshooting
Common issues and how to fix them.
Embedded Twitch can only see your login if your browser sends third-party cookies to twitch.tv. Most browsers block this by default.
Allow third-party cookies (or disable tracking protection) for this site:
- Brave — click the Shields icon in the address bar and turn shields off for this site.
- Chrome / Edge — eye-with-slash icon in the address bar → Allow third-party cookies. Or chrome://settings/cookies → add this site to allowed sites.
- Firefox — shield icon in the address bar → Turn off enhanced tracking protection for this site.
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → uncheck Prevent cross-site tracking.
You also need to be logged into twitch.tv in the same browser. After changing the setting, refresh this page.
Ad-free embedded viewing is only available if you have Twitch Turbo or an active channel sub to the streamer. StreamVoid cannot remove ads on its own — it relies on your existing Twitch entitlements.
If you do have Turbo or a sub and ads are still playing, follow the steps in the section above to make sure Twitch can see your login through the embed.
- Make sure the channel name is spelled correctly (no spaces, letters / numbers / underscores only).
- Confirm the channel is currently live on twitch.tv. Offline channels show as a black box.
- Some browsers and ad-blockers aggressively block Twitch's player domain. Try pausing your ad-blocker for this site.
- 6+ streams at once can stress your CPU and bandwidth. If streams stutter, try a smaller layout (solo, duo, focus).
